5/16/21 Updates

Hayley is stable in the same condition as she was 2 hours after the c-section. We almost lost her on and off for 2 hours after it. She has been given a paralytic to help her muscles fully relax and she has been moved to lie on her stomach, which helps her lungs. She is sedated and so far the ventilator is working well. The baby is actually 3.2 pounds and measures at 29 weeks, even though he isn’t actually 29 weeks. Her first baby was a big boy too, thank goodness. He is on a respirator and feeding tube and they don’t know yet if he has covid but they said at U of Mich hosp that they have had only 1 baby born with covid so odds are in his favor.
